Ocean Optioned
The Hollywood Gang has optioned screen rights to Warren Ellis and Chris Sprouse's Ocean which is one of my favorite comics.
I think it will work well on the big screen. Is it too much to hope that the promotional stills will look something like this?

I'm sure their going after Sam Jackson for this one, but Avery Brooks would be a very good choice as well (though I doubt they'd sign him up to be the lead in a big-budget sci-fi film). Ocean did read like it was pretty much wwritten for film, sohopefully it'll be good. Now if they could just make Switchblade Honey, I'd be in heaven.
